ID's Released In Hudson Valley Triple-Fatal Crash

Two men and a woman from Dutchess County have been identified as the victims of a horrific crash when their vehicle rammed into a tree and landed on the front porch of a home earlier this week.

John A. Perry, 46, and Kelly L. Perry, 40, both of Stanford, and Michael V. Lasher, 35, of LaGrange, died around 10:45 p.m. Monday, when the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer in which they crashed into a tree on Route 82, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. 

After hitting the tree, the vehicle caught fire and landed on the house's porch, he added.

The fire spread to the house and was extinguished by Stanfordville Fire Department, state police said.

One man and the woman died on the scene, the other man was airlifted to MidHudson Regional Hospital, where he later died, state police said.

An investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
